Less than 3 Weeks!

We are getting really excited to greet our new little baby! My due date is coming up soon! Hopefully we don't have to wait past the due date, but I guess anything is possible. We have been diligently getting the room and house ready for our new addition. Kenadi is using the bassinet for her doggy and she wheels him around taking such good care of him. I think she thinks it's her new toy.
Anyways, I have a few cute pictures of Kenadi lately, and thought I'd share.

Kenadi thinks she is a big girl, and as soon as I get my makeup bag out, she comes running. (I don't know why my bag is so big, it houses a lot of things, and I think I use 2 items out of it regularly, and on special occasions, 4) She gets up on her stool and goes through my bag opening everything she can, and putting on all that I'll let her.

I will let her use this sparkly eyeshadow thing because it seems harmless. Sometimes I wonder if this is doing damage to my toddler because I saw this thing on Oprah where these moms had these super-obsessed girls who thought they were ugly unless they had makeup on. Hopefully a little play is okay. See all those pretty sparkles?
Kenadi loves to play with Randy. He is so good with her. I really lucked out on him. Those things on his face are all of the stickers off a sheet of stickers we let her have. They all ended up on Daddy's face in a pile. Aren't they cute?
This one does worry me a bit. She is REALLY good at fake talking on cell phones. This one is a toy that someone gave her in our ward. She holds full "half" conversations on them. It sounds like this..."oh, yea? Uh huh... (laugh) yea, it's weally hot..." etc. It is funny. If we are in the car sometimes I think she's talking to me, but she's just on the phone. What I am worried about is how she will be when she's a teenager. Between the phone, the chapstick (she's obsessed), and my makeup, I think I should be a little worried.

You know children learn by example, who is it that talks on the phone all the time, hmmmm? Just kidding! Good luck with the baby thing! I definitely have great empathy for you! We get to be done this Friday, Yeah!

It's about time you added stuff to your blog! I have outblogged you this past week...That's what happens when you are unemployed and don't know what to do with yourself all day... :) Cute pictures of Kenadi. She is definitely a girly-girl!

I'm excited to see some pics of that new little baby, too! I wouldn't worry about the makeup thing. I bet she grows up no more obsessed than you are.

Less than 3 weeks? That means anyday now! Awesome. I bet you can't wait. And I remember you talking A LOT on the phone when we were roommates - so that's probably where Kenadi gets it. :)

Thanks everyone... I really try to keep my phone conversations to a minimum! I think she learns it from Randy. =)

Kenadi is so cute. I wouldn't worry about anything she is doing--seems very normal to me :) She is just a quick learner!!!
