Here's the Update

Well, I am finally updating on our week of accidents and adding some pictures of when Randy's mom was here.  This is our most recent family picture.  I don't really care for it because of me, but I have decided I can't cut it out because I'm the one who looks bad.  The picture below is at the same place, obviously.  Pops.  It is a tradition anytime family visits, and we love it!

Randy and I celebrated our 6th aniversary on July 17th.  I got the babysitting, and Randy was in charge of the date.  I must say he did a good job.  He planned on a nice bike ride to our resteraunt and then from there to Shakespear in the park.  The weather was excruciatingly hot, so we didn't ride bikes, but the date was wonderful anyways.  We ate at this Brazilian restaurant that I fell in love with, and then the play was so fun.  I loved every minute of our time together.
This was the best picture we could get of us that night.
What else?  Well, Emma is in to EVERYTHING.  She is fun, and has such a personality, but boy is she hard to keep up with.  I find her doing stuff like this all of the time.
We've enjoyed a delicious crop of sweet corn.  Kenadi and Emma loved it too.
We finally got Kenadi a big girl bed-this bunk bed.  She LOVES it.  Emma is still in the crib for as long as I can keep her from climbing out of it.  This bunk bed has sure made nap and bed time's easier.   Kenadi is putting herself to bed now.  I hope it lasts.  =)
Here's what happened to Emma last Sunday.  Notice the eye?  A sweet little 6-year-old was trying to hold our wiggly thing.  She was dropped on her head onto a hardwood floor and has been sporting this lovely black eye since.

And last but not least, Kenadi's accident.  She fell off of the fridge.  Don't ask how she got up there.  She went to the ER after giving me a weird eye roll and luckily her cat scan and x-rays came back perfectly fine.  Whew.  What a week that was!

Finishing

We had a crazy week of accidents last week.  I need to put the pictures up before I tell you more about them.  But, stay tuned.
I've had this thought lately.  One thing that really bugs me about myself is that I start so many things and I never finish them, or it takes me a year or something.  I don't do it with cooking, cause I can't, but I probably would if I could.  SOOO, my new goal is to FINISH what I've started.  In a timely manner.  Well, that has a lot of loopholes, but you know what I mean.  I'll let you know how I'm doing.

Lonely

Randy's mom left us on Wednesday, and we have been lonely for her and family since.  SO, due to cheaper airline tickets we are now coming to Washington in about 3 weeks!  I'm so excited.
We had a blast with Randy's mom.  She was so good to us and the girls... lots of thanks to her for coming!  We love you!  (I will post pictures of her visit later)

A Smorgasbord

Here are a few things we've been up to... Namely (in no particular order), Randy's mom has come to visit, we've celebrated Father's Day for Kenadi and Emma's wonderful daddy, the cowboy museum, zoo, a kid obsessed with having his woody doll in all of my pictures (see if you know what one I'm talking about he had it on Emma's head previously), trying to convince Kenadi to ride without training wheels, crazy rain storms, raspberries, crazy sleeping habits, Emma's independence, swimming and more swimming, helping daddy, and weird outfits.  Sorry to condense it so much, but obviously we've been busy!
