Here's the Update

Well, I am finally updating on our week of accidents and adding some pictures of when Randy's mom was here.  This is our most recent family picture.  I don't really care for it because of me, but I have decided I can't cut it out because I'm the one who looks bad.  The picture below is at the same place, obviously.  Pops.  It is a tradition anytime family visits, and we love it!

Randy and I celebrated our 6th aniversary on July 17th.  I got the babysitting, and Randy was in charge of the date.  I must say he did a good job.  He planned on a nice bike ride to our resteraunt and then from there to Shakespear in the park.  The weather was excruciatingly hot, so we didn't ride bikes, but the date was wonderful anyways.  We ate at this Brazilian restaurant that I fell in love with, and then the play was so fun.  I loved every minute of our time together.
This was the best picture we could get of us that night.
What else?  Well, Emma is in to EVERYTHING.  She is fun, and has such a personality, but boy is she hard to keep up with.  I find her doing stuff like this all of the time.
We've enjoyed a delicious crop of sweet corn.  Kenadi and Emma loved it too.
We finally got Kenadi a big girl bed-this bunk bed.  She LOVES it.  Emma is still in the crib for as long as I can keep her from climbing out of it.  This bunk bed has sure made nap and bed time's easier.   Kenadi is putting herself to bed now.  I hope it lasts.  =)
Here's what happened to Emma last Sunday.  Notice the eye?  A sweet little 6-year-old was trying to hold our wiggly thing.  She was dropped on her head onto a hardwood floor and has been sporting this lovely black eye since.

And last but not least, Kenadi's accident.  She fell off of the fridge.  Don't ask how she got up there.  She went to the ER after giving me a weird eye roll and luckily her cat scan and x-rays came back perfectly fine.  Whew.  What a week that was!

I cannot believe how much trouble kids seem to get into! Glad everything was okay.

We loved going to Pops when we were out there, it is a great tradition.

Congratulations on 6 years!

Wow. That last picture freaked me out a little. Good thing she's okay! I wouldn't be surprised if Kenadi was just taking after you and wanting to sport a neck brace just for fun! Remember that? You would walk around the neighborhood with a neck brace on because you thought it was cool. Was it 6th grade? Ha ha!

That is so scary!!! We have had our share of tumbles, but weird eye rolls...that is very scary!
I'm glad she is ok.

Alright, I'll admit your post made me laugh out loud. Mostly because I totally remember the times that my boys were into EVERYTHING. And yes, Noah did almost fall of the fridge, so I can almost totally relate! So glad that she ok, though, or i wouldn't be laughing at all :)
