You might be wondering where I've been. Well, I've been spending my time homeschooling, and so our blog has been pushed to the side. I get to spend my day with all three of our wonderful kids, which is a blessing, but also VERY time consuming. =) Obviously. I have to make sure and get the milestones written down here though, and Birthday's are some of them. SO, our little Kenadi is not so little any more. She is now 6! Every year I'm amazed that so much time has passed already. All the while, time passes so slowly for the kids. They are already excited for their next birthday's, and Christmas, and Halloween... Emma asks me at least once a week to put the lights up outside the house and get the tree out. She's been wearing Christmas dresses too. She has never quit wearing her halloween clothes. I see orange and black leggings, a "boo" shirt, halloween jammy's, all the time. Oh well, it's cute on a 3-year old. So, back to Kenadi's birthday. She has been riding a bike that was way to small for her, so she got a princess bike, complete with the baby carriage/basket on the front. It was funny shopping with Randy for it. He was cringing the whole time, couldn't believe he was buying such a girly bike. Well, Randy, you are in a family with all girls (other than yourself, of course).
Little Kenadi LOVES it though. She is so happy with all of her girly things. She is definitely a girly girl. Her birthday was nice because we got to watch one of her friends. He came over and helped her enjoy it more.
Kenadi and some of her gifts.
Mya had to stand on top of all of them for some reason. It's her new thing, I guess.
Lucky for me Kenadi wanted strawberry shortcake for her birthday cake. Whew. That was much easier than decorating a cake.
Kenadi is smart, active, and full of laughter. She loves to tickle, make jokes, and play pranks. She makes us laugh. She is my little helper around the house, and looks out for her little sisters. She is good at dealing with Emma, who doesn't share very well, and Mya who ate all of her Easter candy. I love that she understands (for the most part) that they are younger than her and still learning. She is full of hugs and kisses, and writes the best love notes to Randy and I. She loves her friends and her family, and makes our family better. Oh Kenadi, we love you! Happy Birthday!
